New shows & schedule shifts.
Updated March 4
Our Programming Committee continues to work hard to provide access to the airwaves for as many local Vermonters as possible. We’ll continue to curate our schedule slots to include those still underrepresented or not heard on the air at the station from our diverse community, as well as keeping an ear to types of content we lack or need more of (local news, deeper conversations, discussions on the issues we face right here in Vermont, and more). We’re excited about what’s to come!
For now, we are bringing 12 new local shows and 2 new syndicated shows on the air in February. Here are the anticipated start dates and where current syndicated shows are shifting to make room for more local, live shows. Our schedule is always the most current lineup for any week.

Friday, February 28 - Friday Local Programming Changes In Effect
1-4pm The final airing of the Long and Winding Road with Dave Tucker. After nearly an 8 year run with the station, Dave is retiring from his beloved show. We will greatly miss his fantastic taste in new music.
4-5pm Woodsongs Radio Hour. It's a temporary rerun of this syndicated music show.
5-7pm Geezer Rock, with Jeff, moving to this new slot.
7-9pm UpFront Soul. It's a temporary rerun of this syndicated music show.
The Barndance Bluegrass show quit with no notice to the station on February 21. As a result of that, and other major policy violations, some of which put the station at risk of FCC regulations, Dan Menucci is no longer a programmer with Central Vermont Community Radio. We are deeply disappointed in how this turned out, as the show was enjoyed by many. Due to our commitment to privacy for all involved in the station, we cannot say more.
###
Syndicated Shows that are retiring from the rotation for now: Green Bubble Tea, Dancehall/Reggae, the Final Straw, For the Wild, and Alternative Radio.
